September 25 - 28, 2008. Third Great Plains Vintage / Classic /
Sailplane Regatta. Wichita Gliderport (37.765 N, 97.180 W), just
northeast of Wichita, KS. The airport is a half-mile grass strip with
some hangar space available. In addition to flying and educational
events, attendees may wish to attend the National Soaring Museum's
Annual Barnaby Lecture scheduled for Wichita that weekend. Camping is possible on site and lodging and food are close by. Contact Neal
